Returns and Exchanges

Since 1983 we have offered a return policy that is quite simple. We want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase. Here are the details in black and white:

Holiday Gifts:

Holiday gifts may be returned within 14 days of the holiday.

Returns & Exchanges:

Within 14 days of receipt of your on line order, you may return or exchange any hobby item in original condition. All products must be unused, unassembled in the original packaging and with the manufacturer's original blank warranty form and instruction manual. Simply call us for a return authorization code and our special returns address before shipping any product back for a refund, store credit or exchange. Refunds are issued to the same credit card, debit card, gift certificate, or other form of payment used in the original transaction.

Non-Defective Returns:

Shipping, handling and insurance fees of $20 for your original ground shipment will be deducted from your refund for non-defective returns. Return shipping and insurance on non-defective merchandise is your responsibility.

Specialty Products:

Security, Industrial, Nokta Makro Invenio, JeoHunter and DeepHunter, JW Fishers Underwater Search & Recovery, GroundTech metal detectors and special order items are not returnable.

Defective Merchandise:

If you receive a defective product, you must notify us within 7 days of receipt. We will pick up the equipment and deliver a replacement unit to you at no charge.

Order Cancellation Policy:

Please submit any cancellation via email or call on our business phone at 508-460-6244 or 800-446-0244.

Email cancellations must contain the following: First name, last name, order number, and email address. This information must be identical to the information originally submitted on your order. Please provide contact information so that we may contact you if we have questions in regards to canceling your order.

Every effort will be made to accommodate the cancellation of your order, providing your order has not been shipped out. In the event that a cancellation was submitted (via email or phone), and your order was shipped out after, we will gladly refund the complete balance charged including shipping. However, if the cancellation was documented as received after the order was shipped, we will refund the merchandise total less shipping.
