The Schonstedt GA-72CD Locator is designed to detect the magnetic field of iron and steel objects, providing both audio and visual detection signals. It features a digital display with a 3-digit LCD readout and bar graph, offering both polarity and relative audio sound strength indications. The GA-72CD is equipped with HeliFlux sensors for optimal performance and is capable of locating steel pipe joints, iron pipes, pk nails, corner markers, steel manhole covers, and other ferrous metal objects with pinpoint accuracy.

Note: All GA-72Cds are shipped from the factory with the Audio Output Switch set to 'B'. This provides an audio signal that is always present. If you prefer not to hear a signal until the locator is within detection range of a target, set the switch to 'A'.
