Features and Benefits
The Tornado is 12" long x 13" wide and is the most famous NEL search coil. It excels in finding coins, treasures, and artifacts in military battlefields worldwide. The coil is DoubleD in design, unusually light for its size, and weighs 19.7 ounces (560 grams) with the coil cover. Its lightweight design allows for all-day searching. A slow swing maximizes its ability to find large, medium, and small targets weighing less than 1g. This coil offers 20% more depth and approximately 10% more ground coverage than standard coils. It is recommended as a replacement for standard coils.
Durability and Design
The coil is waterproof and fully submersible, with a body filled with epoxy resin. A black protective coating, similar to those used on marine boats, allows use without a coil cover. It performs excellently in high and medium soil salinity. Recommended for both professionals and amateurs.
