The NEL Big is renowned as the deepest coil in the world for various metal detectors, confirmed by tests from independent experts and metal detecting enthusiasts. It is ideal for locating deep items, excelling in finding large targets at great depths and small targets weighing 1 gram or more at depths of 25 centimeters (10 inches).
Technical Specifications
This coil offers a 50% increase in depth over standard coils and approximately 40% more ground coverage. It is best suited for open terrain searches. The NEL Big is a DoubleD search coil, measuring 15" long x 17" wide and weighing 32.4 ounces (920 grams). It is waterproof and fully submersible, with a body filled with epoxy resin. A black protective coating, similar to those used on marine boats, allows for use without a coil cover.
