The Pulse 8X comes with a comprehensive accessory package for both land and underwater detecting. It includes a corrosion-proof PVC underwater handle, an aluminum land handle, underwater earphones, AC and DC battery chargers, and a hip mount kit. Additionally, the package features a carry bag and land headphones.

Equipped with both visual and audio target indicators, the 8X alerts you with an audio alarm and a signal strength meter when a metal object is detected. This meter helps determine the size and burial depth of the target, offering more information than audio-only detectors. The loud audio alarm is easily heard underwater. The detector is powered by rechargeable batteries that last 12 hours and can be field replaced for continuous operation. The electronics compartment is accessible for inspection or battery replacement without voiding the warranty. The Pulse 8X is ready for use on land or underwater, diving to depths over 200 feet.

Buoyancy Designed with the Diver in Mind

The detector has slightly negative buoyancy, allowing it to rest on the bottom while you dig, unlike positive buoyancy detectors. Its underwater housing is a solid casting with a 1/4" wall thickness and brass inserts, featuring a 1/2" thick acrylic faceplate secured with stainless steel screws, rated for depths over 200 feet. The standard 7.5-inch coil is sensitive to both small and large targets, making pinpointing easy. Other coil sizes are available for specialized use, requiring the underwater connector option for interchangeability.
