The Fisher Research Labs FML-3 Magnetic Locator is designed to detect buried ferrous metal objects at depths of up to 8 feet. Proudly made in the USA, it features rugged construction for harsh field conditions. Ideal for locating water and gas valves, joints in iron pipes, pipes and cables, manhole covers (telecom, sewer, power, etc.), survey markers, and P.K. nails. Additionally, it serves security purposes by detecting ferrous metal objects on a person, and is useful for weapons search and recovery on land and water. This device offers easy one-hand operation with a four-button keypad.
