The Fisher 8 inch Spider Search Coil comes with a 7-foot cable and is compatible with Fisher 1225-X, 1236-X2, and 1270 metal detectors. This coil is designed to enhance your metal detecting experience.

Larger search coils generally provide better depth for larger targets and improved ground coverage. However, they may reduce sensitivity to smaller objects. Conversely, smaller search coils offer greater sensitivity to smaller objects and improved target separation in areas with high trash content. All Fisher search coils are electrostatically shielded and waterproof, ensuring durability and reliability in various conditions.
Compatibility
This is the standard search coil that ships with the 1270X model. It is also compatible with the Fisher 1225X and 1236-X2 metal detectors.
