Compatibility
This coil is the "Screw On" style for the new Fisher F2 and F4 models. If your detector's serial number is earlier than 0610XXXXXX, it requires the "Push In" style of coil. Click here to view the coil with the "Push In" connector.
If your detector's serial number is after 0610XXXXXX, this is the coil you need. If the serial number is close to 0610XXXXXX, please double-check the connector style required before purchasing.

This is an upgraded coil for the new Fisher F2 and F4 metal detectors.
Performance
Larger search coils generally provide better depth for larger targets and improved ground coverage. However, they may sacrifice sensitivity to smaller objects. Smaller search coils offer greater sensitivity to smaller objects and improved target separation in trashy soil.
