It also features an online firmware update option via USB as well. You can also use the optional external alkaline battery pod as a backup with aa batteries as the power source while detecting.

You can choose from adjustable target identification depth options with the Makro Kruzer. The sensitivity and depth levels can be adjusted for different hunting situations. There are six different search modes to choose from and hear through the wireless headphones. You can choose your operating frequency from multiple frequencies including 5 kHz, 14 kHz and 19 kHz options. Operate in All Conditions

The wireless headphones are not waterproof. As a rule of thumb, wireless headphones of any brand cannot transmit through water, just air.
HOWEVER, the Multi Kruzer offers a vibration feature, and a large back-lit display that makes it IDEAL for hunting underwater. No more diving down with over-sized headphones!

The Makro Multi Kruzer is still VERY NEW, and we are waiting for more accessories as they come out. There is not yet an adapter for wired, waterproof headphones. That being said, the Multi Kruzer offers a vibration feature that is IDEAL for under water detecting. The back-lit screen makes it easy to read while underwater. Diving and searching underwater can be easier without big headphones on, once you get the hang of it!

The ONLY difference between the Makro Kruzer, and Multi Kruzer is the variable frequency option. The higher kHz will allow the detector to be more sensitive to low conductive targets (i.e. gold), and lower kHz will offer better depth, and sensitivity to higher conductive targets (i.e. silver). If you are EXCLUSIVELY looking for gold nuggets, I would check out the Makro Gold Kruzer (https://www.metaldetector.com/makro-gold-kruzer-waterproof-metal-detector), which operates at 61kHz, making it EXTREMELY sensitive to even smaller gold nuggets. It will be ok with coins as well, but will be more sensitive to less conductive targets.

This model has a maximum depth capability of approximately 12-14 inches, depending on the size and composition of the target, as well as ground conditions.

can this be used over wet sand and low beach water?
The Makro Multi Kruzer is likely one of the best options for hunting on a salt-water beach, while still offering the ability to identify the target you're detecting. It's a great option at a salt-water beach.

The Makro Multi Kruzer has a unique connection, so for wired headphones, you would need to use the 1/4-inch adapter (https://www.metaldetector.com/makro-kruzer-1-4-headphone-adapter).
The Multi Kruzer uses a unique wireless system designed to eliminate delay, so you would have to just use the Makro Wireless headphones.

1160 GRAM Meteorite! found 3 " underground. Don't ask where. One of many! As far as being excited I all most had a stroke. Here's a photo of one Meteorite I found on the surface, over 800 grams and a 447 gram one! The one in the middle is my first. The bar magnet has some small Iron meteorites on it.

Just wanted to thank all involved in a recent shipment to me that was a gift for my grandkids. I ordered 2 detectors but for some reason only one was shipped. I have just come in after spending an hour or at my local beach with my son, which is only a 5 minute walk from my home called Deception Bay. This is the first time i have ever used detector. The very first thing it detected in less than a minute was a two dollar coin, boy we were so excited! Not by the amount, but by the fact that on its maiden voyage it detected a coin. We then detected a ten cent piece. We can't wait to take it to a popular beach and I will practice more with the settings.
