The audio output tone frequency increases or decreases with gradient field intensity. As the detected signal strength increases, the frequency of the audio tone on the GA-52Cx increases. Therefore, when the signal strength is about zero, the frequency of the audio output is higher than the Idling frequency that exists at the time when the signal strength is approximately zero. This Schonstedt locator contains the HeliFlux sensors for optimal performance. It will provide a response to iron and steel objects only as it is a magnetic locator. You can easily locate steel pipe joints, iron pipes, pk nails, a corner marker, a steel manhole cover or other ferrous metal objects with pinpoint accuracy.
