When looking for a modern metal detector to find coins, jewelry and relics, look to the Fisher F5. Advanced display features and ground tracking. Be sure to read our Guide Comparing the Fisher F4, F5 and F70 metal detectors.
The Fisher F5 is a great model to choose for coin, relic and beach hunting. This detector combines both analog and digital technologies. For the beach and relic hunter this model includes a high resolution manual ground balance adjustment. Now you can precisely tune this model for your exact ground conditions.
This detector can attest that one man's waste is another man's treasure. The variable tone pinpoint system distinguishes between different metals, like nails, pennies, quarters and bottle caps for a more accurate target identification to maximize your digging efforts. The F5 includes a manual ground balancing option to cancel unwanted signals that usually come from natural ground minerals.
The display on the Fisher F5 includes a numeric target identification readout that goes from 0-99. A frequency shift adjustment is included. This will allow you to hunt near high power lines or other treasure hunters that have the same model. This unit includes both audio and visual target identification. A target identification confidence bar graph helps you sort out your targets more precisely. A one touch notch control and a pinpoint control are standard on this model. You can even adjust the audio pitch on the F5. Perfect for those that have hearing loss at certain frequencies. This model allows you to manually adjust the audio threshold for your personal style of treasure hunting. Finally this model includes continuous ground mineralization phase readout.
