The Schonstedt Spot is a magnetic locator. This model features the quality and accuracy of a Schonstedt locator at a lower cost. The Spot offers the same engineering as the more expensive GA-52CX in an ergonomic, lightweight form factor. Rated IP54 for dust and water resistance, the Spot is ready for harsh environments and daily use. In fact, you can even use it in shallow snow or during inclement weather.

It takes One 9V battery and provides 24 hours of battery life with intermittent usage. The device will provide a 1/2 second audio beep, and you will hear every 12 second audio beep as as a tone when lower than 6.8V.
