Walter Lesche came to the USA in 1952, penniless and unfamiliar with the English language. Lesche started his business; Walt's Welding, out of his garage in the mid 1950's. In 1964, Walt moved his company to its current location and expanded the line of products. Shown above, the Lesche GS Ground Shark model 38 blade is produced from aircraft-quality steel. The blade is 11 1/4" Long x 5 1/4" Wide. The steel is extremely durable and rust resistant. To assure the longest life, each blade is heat treated. The blade comes with a serrated edge for digging.
