CSI Pro™ Evidence Recovery Metal Detector Provides all terrain versatility and unmatched performance for metallic crime scene evidence recovery. The CSI Pro can be fully submerged to 10 feet. Before you dig, listen for the iron trash! By using Iron Audio, you can hear discriminated iron (normally silenced) so that you don't dig flat iron targets such as bottle caps and washers. With the Garrett CSI Pro ™, it is necessary to set some level of Iron Discrimination in order to use the Iron Audio feature. Without Iron Audio, both the bottle cap and silver coin sound like good targets. Unlike the tone for desired targets, Iron Audio produces the "grunts" associated with trash targets, such as bottle caps. The CSI Pro has proportional audio. The CSI Pro™ features advanced, proportional (Pro) audio modes. The user can hear subtle changes in the target's response as a result. Additionally, proportional audio enables the user to better judge a target's size, shape, and depth. As an added benefit, it also has a much faster recovery time when detecting adjacent targets or in tight spaces. The CSI Pro™ also includes three Standard audio modes, which provide a full-strength beep regardless of a target’s amplitude. Detectorists usually prefer this simpler, binary target response (on or off).

Advanced Ground Search Capabilities

The Garrett CSI Pro is a Crime Scene Investigation Metal Detector tuned specifically to find weapons, bullets, and shell casings. This model is not intended for hobby use. With this automatic feature, the user is able to quickly ground balance the detector in mineralized soil conditions. The digital target id identification scale ranges from 0 to 99. It measures a target metal's conductivity. Electronic pinpointing is included. A non-motion All-Metal Mode is used to precisely locate the position of a detected target. The model has a weatherproof housing to allow hunts underwater and provides increased durability for the device overall. The optional Propointer AT is a great accessory to use in conjunction with this detector. It will help to speed up your recoveries by precisely pinpointing them in the dirt. This optional accessory has a built in led flashlight and pinpointing tip. It also has a lost pro-pointer alarm which, if lost emits periodic warning chirps.
